Four new companies, in sectors such as logistics, services and galvanized, entered the free zone of La Candelaria with investments of more than 16,200 million pesos.

These companies initially generate 58 direct jobs, a figure that should increase soon.

The Last year the company SUMINISTRO SUIN RESINA S.A located inside the country took the decision to move its operations to Cartagena to take advantage of this offer, lower freight costs, reduced transit times, easy access to other markets, a variety of clusters, reliable public services, better quality of life due to their status as exporter. The company invested nearly 8,800,000 pesos (U.S. $ 4,400,000 million) and generated about 200 jobs for the city.
